- Advanced Open Water certification is required for this trip's channel diving; Nitrox certification is highly recommended.
- The route covers North Malé, Vaavu, and North & South Ari with up to 17 dives — mantas, whale sharks in South Ari, and channel reef sharks — in water around 28–29°C.

- Mantas at Rangali cleaning station, year-round whale sharks in South Ari, Alimatha nurse sharks at night
- Reef sharks in the channels at Fish Head; Rasdhoo Madivaru corner early with the current running
- Warm water ~28–29°C; February–March is the best window
- Optional Sri Lanka land extension 6–13 March 2027 in development — ask to be kept posted
