- Advanced Open Water certification is required for this trip, since Cozumel's wall dives regularly exceed 60ft; Nitrox certification is highly recommended given depths and multiple dives per day.
- This is a shore-based Cozumel package — not a liveaboard — and can be used as a warm-up week before longer Maldives liveaboards on the same board.

Advanced Open Water is required — Cozumel's wall sites like Palancar and Santa Rosa regularly exceed 60ft. Nitrox certification is highly recommended given the depths and repetitive daily diving.
Is this a liveaboard?
No. Cozumel diving is day-boat only under Marine Park rules. You stay shore-based and boat to the reefs daily.
What gear do I need?
Standard recreational kit; many divers use a 3mm full or shorty in Cozumel's warm water. Confirm rental vs. bring-your-own on inquiry.
What's the group size?
Small group, capped around 10–12 divers.
How do I book?

Can this trip prepare me for a Maldives liveaboard?
Yes. This week works both as a standalone Cozumel trip and as a 'get ready first' path for Maldives guests on the same board.
